These Terms apply to Agenote on iOS and macOS (the "App"), developed and published by Actlogicom, LLC ("Actlogicom," "we," "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
Agenote is a personal agenda and note-taking tool. It reads and writes calendar events and reminders through Apple's system databases. Notes and attachments may be stored locally, in Agenote's private iCloud container, in an Obsidian vault you select, or in a Markdown folder you select. The App does not operate a backend server that stores, processes, or has access to your content.
The App may share or export content to Apple Notes or another application only when you initiate that action through a supported sharing feature. Agenote does not read from or synchronize with the Apple Notes database.
You own the content you create using the App, including notes, attachments, events, tasks, and reminders (your "Content"). Actlogicom claims no ownership rights over your Content and does not access, collect, or store it on infrastructure controlled by Actlogicom.
You are responsible for choosing and maintaining your storage destination and backups. Synchronization through iCloud, Obsidian, a file provider, or another third-party service is provided by that service and depends on your account, settings, network, and device. Actlogicom is not responsible for data loss, corruption, conflicts, or synchronization failures caused by Apple, Obsidian, another application or service, your configuration, or your device.
You are responsible for reviewing content before sharing or exporting it and for confirming that the receiving application supports the formatting, links, and attachments you expect.
Agenote can interact with services and applications provided by third parties, including Apple Calendar, Reminders, iCloud, Apple Notes, Obsidian, speech recognition, and applications available through Apple's system Share sheet. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Once you direct Agenote to share or export Content to another application, that application's handling of the Content is outside Actlogicom's control.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every third-party application, or free of data loss.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ACTLOGICOM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, INCLUDING DATA LOSS RESULTING FROM THIRD-PARTY SERVICES SUCH AS APPLE ICLOUD, APPLE NOTES, OR OBSIDIAN. TO THE EXTENT ANY LIABILITY CANNOT BE EXCLUDED, IT IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP, IF ANY.
If you receive the App through TestFlight, you also agree to Apple's TestFlight and Beta Software terms. Beta builds may be unstable, may change without notice, and are not intended for critical or production use.
Distribution of the App through the App Store is additionally governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the default EULA used for App Store apps), including its disclaimers and liability limitations. These Terms supplement, and do not replace, that agreement.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will identify the latest version. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
