This policy covers Agenote on iOS and macOS (the "App"), developed and published by Actlogicom, LLC.
Agenote does not sell user data, track users across apps or websites, or use advertising identifiers. The App has no backend server operated by Actlogicom. Your calendar data, reminders, notes, and attachments are never transmitted to or stored on any server controlled by Actlogicom.
Calendars and Reminders. Accessed only after you grant permission and used to display and manage your agenda. This data is read from and written to the system Calendar and Reminders databases. Agenote does not copy it elsewhere unless you explicitly initiate a share or export that includes it.
Microphone and Speech Recognition. Used only when you choose to dictate an idea, note, event, task, or reminder. Agenote does not retain the recording after dictation. Speech recognition is provided by Apple and may be processed on your device or through Apple's services, depending on your device, settings, language, and Apple's system behavior. Apple's processing is governed by Apple's privacy policies.
Photos. When you select an image, Agenote uses Apple's system photo picker and receives only the image you choose, not unrestricted access to your photo library. Selected images may be copied into the note storage destination you control.
Camera. If you choose to take a photo from within Agenote, the App requests camera access. The resulting image may be stored with your note in the destination you selected. Agenote does not access the camera unless you initiate this action.
Files you select (Obsidian vault or Markdown folder). Agenote accesses only a folder you explicitly select, using Apple's security-scoped access where applicable. The App uses that access to read, create, and update notes and their attachments in the selected location.
Notifications. If you allow notifications, Agenote may schedule local notifications for features you enable. Notification preferences can be changed in system settings.
Notes and attachments may be stored locally on your device, in Agenote's private iCloud container, in an Obsidian vault you select, or in a Markdown folder you select. The available destination depends on your platform and the option you choose in Settings.
If you enable iCloud sync for local notes, files are synchronized between your devices using Apple's iCloud Drive service and a private container tied to your Apple ID. Actlogicom does not have access to this container or its contents. If your selected Obsidian vault or Markdown folder is synchronized by Apple, Obsidian, or another provider, that synchronization is controlled by that provider and your configuration.
When you explicitly use a sharing or export feature, Agenote may provide the content and attachments you selected to Apple Notes or another application through Apple's system sharing mechanisms. Once another application receives that content, its handling is governed by that application's privacy policy. Agenote does not read from or synchronize with the Apple Notes database.
Agenote does not operate its own analytics or advertising service. Apple may collect diagnostics, crash reports, App Store information, or TestFlight feedback under Apple's policies and settings. Actlogicom receives only the information Apple makes available through its developer services.
You can revoke Calendar, Reminders, Camera, Microphone, Speech Recognition, Photos, or notification permissions at any time in iOS Settings or macOS System Settings. Removing a permission may limit the related feature without preventing use of unrelated features. You can also disconnect an Obsidian vault or Markdown folder in Agenote's settings and manage or delete files directly in the storage destination you control.
The App is not directed at children under 13, and Actlogicom does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
